Hola Padres!

During the past few months the children have learned so much !!!!  More colors have been introduced.... Rosa... pink,  and Morado... purple.  The new shape introduced is Corazon... heart!  The children are learning about emotions.. Feliz.... happy... and Triste.... sad!

In February, we celebrated our little "Mardi Gras" with song and a dance.  We also learned the biggest celebration takes place in the country of BraΩil. Ole'!!!
The children are enjoying the lessons so much!

I hope they are sharing some of them with you.  We are looking forward for Primavera.... ( Spring ) together.

Hola' Padres!

    Happy New Year!  December was a fun but very busy month.  Our holiday events were a success and thank you for the kind donations and participation with our activities.  We had so much fun making the holiday crafts and celebrating "Las Posadas."
    
    On January 11th we learned the colors negro and blanco, which means black and white.  Our next special event will be the celebration of the Chinese New Year, the year of the dragon!

    I am looking forward to another year together with your children.

Hola' Padres!

     The children learned so much during the month of October. In addition to many new words, we worked on the new greeting, "Como estas", which means "How are you?".  

     This month we will learn about the Guatemalan schools and their traditions.  We will also celebrate our delicious "Dia de Gracas" feast.   The color of the month for November is "Rosa", the girls favorite color; Pink.
