Happy New Year! We have had a great holiday vacation, got to play in the snow, and now we're ready for all of the exciting things that school has in store for us. January is going to be a fun and busy month. We have our Martin Luther King and Special Persons Assembly on January 15th. At this assembly we talk about influential or famous African Americans. Our classes have picked Martin Luther King as the special person we will be learning about. We will then tell our friends all about what we have learned during the assembly. We will also be getting a visit from Ms. Rose on January 8th. It's so much fun dancing and singing to her music. Each week Ms. Simone will be teaching us new and exciting things in Spanish class. Last but not least....(drum roll please...) it will be Pajama Day! January 29th. We love this day! Everyone comes to school in their pajamas and it's like being at a huge sleepover with all of your school friends. It's going to be so much fun! Don't forget to check out the school calendar to see what we will be working on in class each week, and keep an eye out for all of the pictures of the exciting things we will be doing. Here's to a fun and exciting new year!
