Dear Parents,
What a great first month here at the Ted DiRenzo Montessori School! During this month the children have enjoyed Music Enrichment, Spanish Classes, our annual Bee Day Assembly, and the Getting To Know You Assembly. We have had a great time.
The children have adjusted beautifully and are learning so much. Throughout this month, I am happy to say that we have added many new children to our school family. We are thrilled to welcome, among our new students, many babies to our ELC class. Our newest students have now made it necessary for us to look at our class structures and make adjustments. We are now in the midst of making new class divisions and reassigning our students and classroom teachers. As we go through our growing phase and the restructuring of classes, we will continue to keep you informed of our progress.
Among our many changes, we will also be hiring a few new staff. With this in mind, I am happy to introduce to you Rebecca Pennock. She joined our school this past week, and is a recent graduate of Cabrini College with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is presently working in our ELC E3 class. We welcome her to our staff and are excited about all of the wonderful new changes and additions taking place in our school
October is looking to be a busy month with lots of wonderful things planned. Please check out the monthly school calendar which will be coming home shortly on your child’s lunchbox. There are many fun and exciting events scheduled. Please keep in mind that the Back to School Afternoon will be taking place this month, because of restructuring and changes, more details will follow about when our Back to School Afternoon will take place. We look forward to scheduling a date for this important event and encourage you to attend.
Thank you as always for your continued support and understanding.
Sincerely,
Connie Di Renzo
