Today in Spanish we learned all about our familias (family).  We all love our families and we practiced saying the word familia.  We also reviewed our numerous (numbers) up to ocho (eight) and went over our colors blanco (white) and anaranjado (orange).  We also got to hear our favorite story "No David" again.  Check out some video and pics from our class.

Today Ms. Simone read "No David!" in Spanish....

11/15/2013

In Spanish class today, we read the story "No David" in Spanish.  The children really enjoyed this reading.  "No David" is one of their favorite books in school and to hear it read in Spanish was a special treat.  There were lots of new Spanish words to see in the book. Our new vocabulary word is Gato (cat). We also started to learn about manners for our unit study, and we learned how to say "perdone" (excuse me), and "gracias" (thank you).  The numero of the day is siete (seven). We got to count siete eggs and continues to review our color Anaranjado (orange).  Wow what a fun and busy class!
                                                                Gracias,
                                                                        Ms. Simone

Flores! Flores! See the beautiful flores!

11/8/2013

In Spanish class we learned a new letter, F, for Flores!  Flores means flowers, and we used our school manipulates to create flores.  We also learned a new color and number.  Anaranjado (orange) is all around us during the fall season, and we were able to count to diez (10).  Please take a look at a few videos from our classes.
