Today our little stars shone brightly at the annual school Talent Time Assembly. Students did individual and group act and wowed the crowd with their delightful performances. Parents and teachers enjoyed routines varying from songs, to jokes, to dance selections. Bravo! In Spanish class today, we learned about Cinco de Mayo and we celebrated this Mexican holiday with dancing and yummy treats! Today we celebrated Earth Day and planted lots of beautiful plants and flowers. We want to help make our world a beautiful place! The students celebrated the first day of May with a visit from Raggedy Ann! She helped us welcome spring by leading in dancing around the Maypole and having a tea party with students and their favorite stuffed animals! She even took time to tell the story of "How Raggedy Ann Got Her Candy Heart". After the story she danced with Raggedy Andy and invited the children to come and dance along. Everyone enjoyed the dancing and yummy treats. Welcome May! |
