They were able to see the various stages of the life cycle personally in class. Each class hosted several butterfly caterpillar and watched in anticipation as the caterpillars formed cocoons and later emerged as beautiful butterflies. The children were able to observe the butterflies and learn about the things that they eat. Although the children were reluctant to have their visitors leave, today was goodbye day and all the classes gathered in the big play yard to say farewell. It was fun and exciting to watch the butterflies get energetic as they were brought outside and the students enthusiastically bid them goodbye in English and Spanish! Adios mariposa! Goodbye butterflies! ![]() We love to take care of our earth and make our world a beautiful place to live in.
