E3 Classroom

11/24/2011

November is a busy month for the E3 classroom. We are focusing on the Unit Study, manners and kindness. The children learn through stories and situation play. We incorporate manners throughout our day, especially at lunch time. We are continuing our daily routine of circle, Montessori work time, crafts and recess. Parents are always welcome to visit and look at our bulletin boards in the E3 classroom.

Our "What are we learning?" board displays the letter, color, shape and number ot the week for everyone to see.

Our Veterans Day & "I can" Assembly is on Thursday, November 10. If your chld is an "I can" child, your child will be notified.

The E3 classroom will be marching in to "When the Flags Go Marching In". Everyone is welcome to join us, we would hope to see you. The children always have fun with Miss Rose and music enrichment class. She is planning a "pow-wow" with chldren on Wednesday, November 16th.

The Annual Thanksgiving Day Play will be on Monday, November 21st. The E3 children with be the "Flowers and Animals". Again, everyone is welcome and hope to see you.

On Tuesday, November 22nd, the entire school will be enjoying a Thanksgiving Day feast for lunch. Each child is asked to bring a specific item to help contribute to this celebration of "Thanksgiving". "SCHOOL IS CLOSED NOVEMBER 24 & 25" It is important for all parents to know that every child needs to be signed in and out of school each day.

Please remember that wearing sneakers to school each day is a school policy.
